This is a very nice walk with a high degree of diversity. A gorge, beautiful forests and two waterfalls in completely different surroundings.

At the end of the famous Logar valley, Slap Rinka is one of the highest waterfalls in Slovenia with a free fall of 90 meters. This walk takes you from the waterfall to the Okrešelj basin above it.

This is a short walk to the 27 meter high Prsjak waterfall. The narrow footpath through a gorge in the woods is very nice.
Starting point: About 5,4 kilometers south of Dolenja Trebuša

This walk takes you deep into the rough Pekel gorge with at least five waterfalls. Starting rather easy, the walk gets more demanding along the way with lots of picturesque spots.

Rakov Škocjan is a karst valley with most of the karst phenomena packed in a small region. The descent into the collapsed cave and the walk through two short natural tunnels to Zelške Jame is astonishing. Far away from all the other locations on this website, but really worth visiting.

There are several large cave systems that can be visited in Slovenia. Škocjanske jame stands out because of the immense underground canyon with illuminated path with the Reka river far below. This is a guided tour.

This is a circular walk along the Adriatic coastline at the Strunjan Nature Reserve.
The walk follows the coastline where you walk along up to 80 meters high cliffs and return on a path above the cliffs.
